Mary Kathryn of Breathe Big, a Houston-based practice, will lead us through a 45-min breathwork activity to focus on calming the mind and body. Studies have proved that breathwork can improve emotional health and decrease levels of stress.
Although virtual, this experience will be interactive whether through your computer audio or through chat messages. We encourage you to participate, in whichever way you’re comfortable with, in order for you to get the most benefit from the activity.
The event will take place on the Zoom video platform. You do not need a Zoom account to join. You’ll go to Zoom’s Join a Meeting page and entire the specific meeting code. You will have the option to turn on your camera and share your video screen, but this is completely voluntary and not required.
Things you’ll need:
• Your computer, phone, or tablet
• Two pillows and a blanket (to make yourself comfortable)
• An open mind
• A quiet space for 45 minutes
